Traditional A Frame
This table has stood the test of time for a reason. It’s simple, stylish, durable, and practical. It stays firmly in place, is easy to clean and maintain, and looks great in any setting. Our tables are available in sizes to seat 4, 6, 8, 10, and 12 adults, plus a miniature version for children. We offer an optional backrest on some sizes. Hardwood tables over 2.2m feature a vertical board in the middle of the tabletop, dividing the boards. We can also modify any of our tables to accommodate a wheelchair. All tables are available in Pine, Hardwood, or Composite timber. Timber colour may vary slightly from our photos. Wood is an organic substance and tries its hardest to match its environment. Therefore it moves, swells, and shrinks to do so. This is normal timber behaviour.
Sometimes cracks will appear and these cracks can open up quite large. It is entirely normal and once the inner core has dried the crack will close up. Likewise as the moisture in the air increases so will the free water absorbed by capillary action in the wood and once again the cracks will close up. None of these splits or cracks in the timber will affect it’s structural integrity or inherent strength.
Tables are available in Pine, Hardwood and Composite timber. The hardwood table uses treated Pine for the main sub-frame and hardwood on the seat and table tops. As with all timber products used outdoors, you need to look after the timber to maintain its integrity and good looks. We recommend reoiling the timber every 6 months.
Composite timber is a recycled material that includes some plastic, some wood fibres and lots of bonding agents. The major benefits are it doesn’t require any oiling or sanding and is UV resistant. The downsides are it’s more expensive and doesn’t quite give the same aesthetic as natural timber. It also gets about 5% hotter, which could be a problem for some customers if it’s in full sun. Composite timber is also a bit heavier than natural timber.
Umbrella holes are available at an extra cost.
All our tables come fully assembled. However we are able to flatpack onto pallets for transportation at an additional cost.
